This program is for anyone who has never run or can run up to 3 miles.
MEGHAN AND MELISSA WILL BE TRAINING YOU TO RUN FOR WEIGHT LOSS, FOR FUN AND TO COMPLETE 5K RUNS THIS FALL.
 $20 Per Run  OR  10 RUNS for $100.
ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS SHOW UP ON TUESDAY AT 4:30 WITH YOUR SNEAKERS AND WATER.

Sunday starts the week for some and ends it for others…For Innovation, it started with a Half Marathon and some amazing Innovation ladies that not only ran it – they did absolutely amazing in it. Despite the rain, wind, and cold they started out strong and ended stronger. From the day the started training together the constant support and encouragement they gave each other made it clear they were in this together. I was so proud to be a part of this adventure with them and I am thrilled that they each got to check off such an amazing goal from their bucket list. Running a half marathon is something that everyone wants to do but not everyone can…Meghan, Melissa, and Jen be so proud that you not only did it but you did it amazing!!!!! Awesome Awesome job ladies!!!

DON’T EAT FOR TODAY – EAT FOR JULY
With this past crummy week of weather I had to remind many of you that you are not eating for today…you are eating for bathing suit and short season in July. That’s right, it’s very easy to be fooled by mother nature right now. Rain, cold, wind…not sure if we are going into spring or fall. But I assure you the comfort food that you may be reaching for because of the dreary days will take a lot longer to get off your body then it is to put on. It may not be today or tomorrow but I will promise you by next week you will see the sun shining and as quick as it happens it will be 80 degrees even quicker. The very best thing you can do for yourself when it’s nasty out – is bring the sunshine in. Take out the summer clothes and rearrange the closets and start trying things on – if that doesn’t do it I don’t know what will. If everything is tight or tighter then you better get refocused and start now! You know I don’t believe in fad diets but I do believe that you can mentally and physically get yourself in a good place by July 4th…and that is when summer officially starts. So next time you reach for something that is not on program… make sure you go try on a pair of shorts first.
LIVING PROOF LOSING WEIGHT MAKES YOU LOOK YOUNGER  
So I know I have told you over and over how weight ages you. Well Cathy proves me right!!!! Her after photo is proof that when you eat healthy and clean and lose weight it doesn’t only make you feel younger it makes you look so much younger!!! When you eat clean and take care of yourself from the inside out you get the most amazing results. Thanks Cathy!!! One year later and you look 10 years younger. You are an absolutely inspiration to so many!!!!

Marathon Training Sign Up Reminder

 
 
10K & 1/2 Marathon Runners:
 
Tomorrow 2/27 is the last day to sign up.  
Our first run together is Monday at 5pm
 
I want to address some of the texts and emails I received about the 10K and 1/2 Marathon Training: 
 
DON’T BE AFRAID!
 
  This is not a time thing where you have to worry if you run fast enough. This is not something you have to worry: will I finish? Do I run far enough now? The only thing you have to worry about is showing up!
 
Running will change your body like no other exercise.  Along with eating clean it will lean you out from head to toe.  
 
 I have trained hundreds of men & women from ages 15 to 65 who have never run before. Do not let fear stand in your way of doing this. It’s not about speed. I will not leave you when we are training and I will not leave you at the run. This is about everyone finishing and completing your goal. When we are training – this is about you! I will always be with the last person running. When it’s time to run the race I will be at the end of our group coaching and motivating you all the way to the finish line. No one will ever be left behind.  
 
I know so many of you are thinking about it. I can promise you if you jump in with both feet and commit – it will be one of the best things you ever do for your body and mind.   
 
Don’t be the person who thinks “I should of – would of – could of”   Be the person who can say “I DID IT!”

Beginner Runner Starts This Week

If you have ever wanted to learn how to run this program is for you. Whether you are a female, male, young or older – A Non-Runner and never ran before or a beginner who can run up to one mile. BEGINNER RUNNER is going to show you the proper way to run and pace yourself for our first 5K November 21st.  That’s right we are going to start this week running together and on NOVEMBER 21st, we will all run our first 5K Turkey Run in Massapequa. Have no fear, I will stay with you the entire time. When you cross the finish line it will be one of the best accomplishments and feelings you have ever experienced.

 

Running is one of the hardest exercises because you are using your entire body weight with every stride. It works your lungs, muscles, brain and strengthens you from the inside out. It is the one exercise that will give you that lean tone look and make you stronger at the same time. If you eat clean and run it will give you the body of your dreams. Is it hard? Of course it’s hard! Anything worth doing is always challenging. But once you are a runner you will always be a runner. So go get your sneakers and lace up because Josephine is going to take you on a new journey that will change your life forever.

 

I have trained thousands of men, women and children of all ages who never ran before. We have completed 5k, 10k, 1/2 marathons and marathons. It is one of the best exercises to learn and master because you can do it anytime and anywhere. Yes, it’s an amazing tool for weight loss but it’s also an amazing tool for mental health. We will start slow with a very slow jog & walk. I will always have an additional running instructor at the end of the group so no one is ever left behind. This is not about speed. It’s not about being the fastest, or slowest. It’s not about finishing first or last. Beginner runner is not competitive against other runners. It’s a competition against yourself. It’s about finding your inner strength and learning what you can do and what you are really capable of.

 

YOU HAVE NOTHING TO FEAR EXCEPT THE REGRET OF NOT SHOWING UP.

 

TO TRY AND ACCOMODATE EVERYONE WE WILL HAVE 2 EVENING RUNS AND 2 AFTERNOON RUNS. STARTING NEXT WEEK YOUR GOAL IS TO TRY AND MAKE IT TO AT LEAST 2 RUNS A WEEK.
