Dried Lemon

If you haven’t noticed, we added dried lemon on our shelves at the Innovation Store. They are not considered as a snack. You can use them in your water or eat them as puckering treat throughout the day. As a mood enhancing scent you can also leave them around your home.

Dried lemons hold more antioxidants than any other foods. The lemon peel contains the potent phytonutrient tangeretin.
Here are some amazing benefits of dried lemons that might shock you:
1. High Blood Pressure
Put a couple of dried lemons in a glass of water and drink three to four times per day to lower your blood pressure. For best results, use warm water and drink it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.
2. Mental Health
Dried Lemons in water can brighten your mood and relieve depression and stress. The energy a human receives from food comes from the atoms and molecules in your food. A reaction occurs when the positive charged ions from food enter the digestive tract and interact with the negative charged enzymes. Lemon is one of the few foods that contain more negative charged ions, providing your body with more energy when it enters the digestive tract. The scent of lemon also has mood enhancing and energizing properties.
3.  Treating Arthritis and Rheumatism
Dried Lemons are a diuretic, meaning it assists in the production of urine and helps to reduce inflammation by flushing out toxins and bacteria while also giving you relief from arthritis and rheumatism.
4.  Prevents Kidney Stones
Regular consumption of water with dried lemons may increase the production urinary citrate, a chemical in the urine that prevents the formation of crystals that may build up into kidney stones.
5. Anti-Aging
Water with dried lemon reduces the production of free radicals which are responsible for aging skin and skin damage. Dried lemons are among the highest in antioxidants.
6. Treat Infections
Water with dried lemons can fight throat infections thanks to its antibacterial property. If salt water does not work for you, try dried lemon and water for gargling.

7. Purge The Blood

Dried Lemon in water helps to purify the built up toxins in the blood and body.
8. Stomach Health
Digestive problems are the most common ailments but warm water and with dried lemons is the solution to most digestive problems. Dried Lemons in water helps to purify the blood, reduces your chances of indigestion, constipation, eliminates toxins from the body, and reduces phlegm.
9. Reduce Asthma and Sinus Symptoms

In addition to a general detoxifying diet, dried lemon in water before each meal, and before bed can reduce asthma and sinus symptoms.

10. Headaches

Dried Lemon in hot water is a great remedy for those who suffer with hangover headaches and many other headache causes.
